Yeah, I WAS going to have a birthday party but at least my primary present came early; Okami. Anway here is how it goes down.... I got my present, Okami, and let me tell you that it was great! I don't get why Nintendo gave it a 7.5 though for control difficulty, the controls are fine if you develop a steady hand. So after playing the game for a day, I wake up next morning for the visit to my doctor and surprise! My mom checked my grades and saw many zeros.... those "zeros" were yet to be made up work that would be turned in by the end of my 4 day weekend regardless (now 5 day weekend since I got pink eye) soooo... my mom grounded me... has possession of Okami and my birthday party on the weekend was canceled. ... number one... the fact that I play Okami when my grades get "better" is not convincing me to work on my stuff immediately. Number two, it is so damn EASY to procrastinate that the things around me aren't the primary part of it. Number three, the only real way of convincing to make someone do their damn homework is to positively encourage them. Thus the best plan of action is to freaking give the game at the end of the day for an hour of freaking play... oh... right and if you have the time... say happy birthday for me. (this also proves that birthdays get worse when you age... always)






EDIT: Here are some web comics that I find very interesting and suggest to you folks.

Clan of Cats [link] I find this one quite entertaining. Withes, magic and all sorts of things. Done in a realistic western comic style, not too clean and not too messy. Started in 1999. Enjoy!

Sinfest [link] This comic is one of my long time favs. Subversive and random don't get any better than this. Started in 2000, drawn in Americanized manga style. Sort of similar to Calvin and Hobbs. You'll be laughing.

El Goonish Shive [link] As a story line based comic it contains a good sense of random and happens to be quite amusing. It balances its lightheartedness quite well with an array of random jokes through out the plot. Started in 2002, drawn in... a more generic comic style. A friend of mine really loves this comic, please read it or the owls will eat you.

There are more but currently these are my most interesting ones I have on my mind right now. Enjoy... oh! And if you guys like Werewolves Try Lunatic Chaos; a web comic done by a friend of mine: Barrin84 ... I think it's 84... yeah.
